Users are required to present their library card when checking out materials or requesting Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.
Materials are loaned for the following periods:
Circulating fiction and nonfiction books – 28 days
New and popular books, including Lucky Day books – 14 days
Circulating reference & holiday – 7 days
Magazines, except for current issues – 14 days
DVDs & Videos – 7 days
Music CDs – 14 days
The library will charge a fine of $.05 cents per day per item for all print/non-electronic items, not to exceed the replacement cost of the item. Non-print/electronic item fines are $.25 cents per day per item, not to exceed the replacement cost of the item.
Two renewals will be allowed on materials that are not in high demand. Renewals will be accepted in person, over the phone or be made by a patron on-line. Materials may be renewed for one additional checkout period.
Lucky Day items cannot be renewed.
Non-Lucky Day items may be renewed provided they are not on reserve for another person.
The library staff may choose not to permit renewals on extremely popular materials.
There is no limit on the number of books, magazines of VHS tapes that may be checked out at any one time.
Lucky Day items are limited to two (2) per cardholder.
DVDS are limited to five (5) per visit per cardholder.
Materials will be reserved upon request. If the reserved book or other material is not picked up within eight (8) says, it will be given to the next user in line or returned to the shelf.
